Being the nature lover that I am, I let the emotions and tears flow like the streams I visit each day. Water flows over harsh rocks, smoothing them into gentle pebbles. Mother Nature has taught me that baring my soul, like the shedding of leaves, prepares for a period of rest. She shows me that after that baring and after that rest, beauty will continue to grow again.

Both can make me cry instantly. The awe of a new sunrise. A baby entering this chaotic world with all the trust and love it deserves to receive forever. I cry out of joy. Sometimes the knowing that life will get more difficult for them both, our earth and the baby, has me crying from deep in my heart.

What else makes me cry?
