Stay Happy! Unrealistic expectation wrapped in a marketers bow

Three years ago, I saw this shirt in Target.

I’m sure they wanted me to buy it…spreading joy like I was Buddy the Elf. There can be only one Buddy the Elf! Maybe I would wear it with the best of intentions. It makes me happy. You see my shirt. You smile. It makes you happy. Then, voila! We both Stay Happy. Life solved.
